A society without decent medical care is condemned to the pandemic of its inhabitants. In the 21st century, with technological advances that leave one stunned, it seems incredible that there are still communities, countries and peoples that do not have the basic conditions for their development or basic health services.
We have all seen those pictures of malnourished African children in sadly deplorable conditions. It so happens that Africa is a continent with a high rate of poverty that ultimately translates into diseases that permeate the quality of life of children, young people, the elderly.
